AFC Grass-Fed Collagen Banana Pancakes W/Almond Butter and Bananas

The following recipe is designed to help you power through your day with a nutritious and tasty twist. This recipe was inspired by true health and fitness enthusiasts with years of experience and knowledge with how to live a happy, healthy, and FIT lifestyle.


 

RECIPE

(Makes approximately 12-14 pancakes):

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 10-15 minutes


Ingredients:

1-2 scoops of AFC Grass-Fed Collagen (Vanilla, Chocolate, or Unflavored)

1 egg, lightly beaten

1 very ripe banana, mashed

1 teaspoon of cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon of baking soda

1/2 teaspoon of baking powder

1/4 cup of flax meal

2/3 cup of almond flour

1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract

1 scoop of Collagen Peptides

Splash of water or almond milk


Toppings:

Fruit, if needed (sliced bananas, blueberries, etc.)

NO SYRUP OR SWEETENERS (More Sugar Creates More Fat!)

If you need an alternative to syrup, then you can use almond butter.



STEP 1:


Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat.


STEP 2:


Mix all ingredients together in a medium sized bowl


STEP 3:


Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle or frying pan, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. You may not get many bubbles with this batter, but make sure to wait to flip until the pancake is browned on the bottom. Flip and cook until browned on the other side
